Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer to lead testing and quality assurance activities for Navy enterprise systems. The candidate will design test cases, develop formal test plans, and provide defect tracking and resolution oversight.

Position: Engineer, Software III (Senior Test Engineer)

Clearance: Active SECRET clearance

Location:

• Primary Worksite: Baltimore, MD, oralternate worksite with COR approval
• Telework: Allowed if approved by COR and a telework agreement is in place
• Travel: May be required for temporary duty locations or program reviews
• On-Site Access: As required for specific tasks — to be coordinated
• Work Hours: Align with Government standard business hours where applicable
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems) from an accredited institution
  
  

Certifications:

• Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification
  
  

Experience:

• 10 years with a Master’s degree or 14 years with a Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in:
• Software testing and validation
• Systems engineering support
• Applying Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps practices

Skills:

• Hardware/software integration testing
• Defect reporting and management
• Risk evaluation and mitigation
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Lead system integration and compatibility testing
• Develop and execute formal test plans
• Track and report software defects
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues
• Provide testing input for program documents
