Job Description
As an Automation Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality software by improving test coverage, minimizing manual testing, and ensuring reliable test execution.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- You will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar automation frameworks.
- You will collaborate with development and QA teams to create test plans, identify automation opportunities, and define the scope of automation testing for different software components.
- Run automated tests, analyze results, and report any discrepancies or issues found during the testing phase. Ensure scripts are running smoothly across all environments.
- You will identify, document, and track defects through the bug tracking system (e.g., Jira) and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing during the development process.
- You will be responsible for working on Unix/Linux (e.g. login, navigate directory/file structure, view log files, transfer and extract log files etc.
Key Skills And Experience
You have:
- B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MCA with 10-15 years of experience in Performance Testing with Python Scripting
- Experience in automation testing, particularly with automation tools like Python.
- Good experience with cloud native architecture, cloud security and cloud patterns, Kubernetes and docker.
- Experience with Container Management.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Good to have knowledge in Nokia Products MantaRay and Network Management Platforms.
- Programming knowledge in cloud technologies.
