Test solutions may be in-circuit test (ICT), functional test (FCT), environment stress screening systems (ESS) or support systems for these developments. Responsibilities: Focuses on test generation and documentation, for product test solutions using standard test platforms or wholly custom test developments, to provide manufacturing solutions that meet both the customers’ requirements and the Benchmark manufacturing support groups’ requirements Develops proficiency on at least one platform Performs evaluation of quality measurements on a tester/fixture development in accordance with a validation plan Creates documentation related to a tester/fixture design project Contacts and works with test component vendors Follows project plan and report project status to leadership Assists in project proposals and associated cost estimates Understands and contributes, as able, to test strategy development discussions on customer team(s) Works with internal manufacturing support groups to understand the requirements of the production environment Assists with design for testability reviews; Create necessary documentation Works with Sustaining Test Engineering to effectively transition test solutions to production Learns and begins to work with advanced technologies (Boundary Scan, ISP, embedded test, etc.) as needed and under specific direction Develops an understanding of Design for Testability philosophy and promote with customers Communicates with customer technical personnel regarding basic test issues Communicates technical challenges and works with peers to implement solutions Participates in test strategy development discussions on customer team(s) Develops day-to-day project activity organization in accordance with test development procedures, including financial planning and review of financials as part of a project post-mortem Participates in continuous improvement activities with complete documentation, including a follow up review with the team in a presentation format Performs design for testability reviews; Create necessary documentation Develops an understanding of test strategy planning and promotes with customers Focuses on test generation and documentation at an intermediate level, for product test solutions using standard test platforms or wholly custom test developments, to provide manufacturing solutions that meet both the customers’ requirements and internal manufacturing support groups’ requirements Works with Project Managers in all relevant aspects of test development to ensure design solutions are completed on schedule, on budget and meet the design intent Communicates with customer regarding technical test issues Works with internal manufacturing support groups to understand the requirements of the production environment and to effectively transition test solutions to production Participates in development of advanced test technologies Provides research and development for new methods of testing and utilizing automated test equipment Maintains proficiency on at least one platform All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction Other information: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Effective interpersonal skills Effective multitasking skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities as required Effective organization and prioritization skills Demonstrate high attention to detail Ability to work with diverse groups Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism.
