Quality Assurance, Information Technology, Bangalore India We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer who will be responsible for creating and maintaining end to end automation framework. You will be working closely with the development and manual test team to arrive at an automation test strategy/Test plan. You will be exploring and learning the latest testing trends in the market and implementing them in the project. Job Role Responsibilities Take ownership and responsibility for the design and development of all aspects of automated testing along with the creation, execution, and maintenance of automated scripts Analyse, design, and build automated test cases based on system requirements and design specification Build and maintain test automation framework for web applications, Desktop applications and Rest API's testing Continuous evaluation of test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features Defining Automation strategy and test design techniques. Driving Quality improvements and test efficiencies You may have to participate in manual testing efforts in areas not yet automated Collaborate with other stakeholders including Dev Lead, Architect, Product Management, and Support organization to ensure the quality of deliverables. Skills Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks for applications developed in Java, JavaScript, C, and C++ Proven scripting or programming experience that conforms to good software engineering design principles and practices Proficient with one programming language (Java or Python) Practical experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines (Jenkins/Bamboo) Analyse Testing and Automation trends in the market and adapt them as required. Hands-on experience in building CI/CD Pipeline and DevOps. Good understanding of Web Technologies like HTTP, REST, and Database concepts. Experience in automating Functional, Non-Functional, REST API, and UI test cases for web applications. Willingness to learn new technologies and keen to drive improvements Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems Experience in the Cyber Security domain will be a plus Non-technical Skills: Passion for Quality and Customer Obsession Strong aptitude for learning new technologies Agile and Innovative Ability to research and be persistent Excellent problem solving Troubleshooting and Analysis skills Team player.
