Your opportunity

As Senior Automation Test Engineer, you’ll be reporting to the Test Manager, and will be responsible for building, executing & maintaining test automation scripts to increase & improve test coverage & efficiency.

This Role Requires You To Have Strong Relationship Management As Well As The Ability To Provide Support To The Business & Mentor Individuals In The Team To Achieve Best Practice. Working Side By Side With People Who Go The Extra Mile, You’ll Also Love The Feeling Of Helping Those Who Need Us. Here’s How You’ll Do It:

  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts (progression & regression) using available test automation platform/tools.
  • Continuous development of test automation to expand test coverage across both progression and regression tests.
  • Increase test automation coverage across all business function/processes/systems.
  • Integrate test automation with continuous integration and delivery tools and pipelines (DevOps).
  • Execute, manage & report on automated test execution including management of defects.
  • Collaborate with other test engineers and wider tech team and stakeholders to ensure the alignment of automation goals and strategies.
  • Improve test automation efficiency by researching and learning new technologies and best practices in test automation, to uplift Test Automation Maturity.
  • Implement & publish test metrics to improve test coverage/efficiency. And find areas in the software development process where automation can be applied and implemented.
  • Support & mentor the team in developing test automation capabilities.

What You’ll Bring

We believe the successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving new client opportunities, and project delivery experience. You’ll bring:

  • The ability to implement CICD integration with deployment pipeline for continuous testing
  • Ability to implement & report on relevant metrics to identify areas of improvement & recommend measures to improve overall test effectiveness.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in Software Test Automation with at least 1+ years working experience using AccelQ Test Automation tool.
  • Experience working with various tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, etc is a plus.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Type script, Ruby, etc.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc and CRM platforms such as D365 or similar.
  • Experience in API Testing using any tools.
  • Exposure in load and performance testing is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills & strong stakeholder management skills
  • Have a Quality mind-set and willingness to bring efficiency in Test automation capabilities & uplift testing practice.
