Senior Test Automation Engineer

📍 Hybrid – 3 days in office in Gdańsk, 2 days remote | Flexible start between 7:00–9:00

We’re looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join an agile team working on the next generation of backend services for a large-scale e-commerce platform. If you're detail-oriented, creative, and experienced in test strategy and automation, this role is for you.

💼 What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with developers to understand application architecture and features
• Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and automated tests
• Reduce manual regression testing backlog through automation
• Perform manual and exploratory testing where needed
• Review and improve test quality and coverage
• Take part in code reviews for test automation
• Contribute to the QA community by sharing knowledge and best practices

🛠️ Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years in test automation, ideally in international agile environments
• Strong experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and Java
• Hands-on API testing experience
• Familiar with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence)
• Knowledge of performance testing
• Understanding of BDD, Gherkin, and agile methodologies (Scrum, XP)
• Strong grasp of manual testing theory and QA best practices
• Fluent English communication (verbal and written)
