Salary: Up to $120,000 + 10% performance bonus (DOE & Geographic Location)

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Techno/Functional Application Manager/Engineer with deep expertise in Siemens Teamcenter PLM to lead the design, development, integration, and support of core PLM capabilities. This hybrid role blends technical engineering with functional leadership to drive innovation and efficiency across our product lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities

Core PLM Ownership: Lead and support key Teamcenter PLM domains including:

  • Parts & Components Management
  • CAD Data Management & Integration
  • BOM Management
  • Change Management
  • Supplier Collaboration
  • Enterprise Data Integration


Solution Design & Architecture:

  • Define and maintain all components of the technical solution and data model
  • Develop and maintain Technical Design Documents (TDDs)
  • Oversee system architecture, software configurations, and associated IT infrastructure


Code Implementation:

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java, C++, ITK, and SOA frameworks
  • Support development lifecycle from requirements to deployment


System Integration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of enterprise systems and applications with Teamcenter


Configuration & Customization:

  • Tailor the Teamcenter platform to meet evolving business requirements
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and internal standards


Data Modeling:

  • Design and optimize data models for effective product and engineering data management


Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Investigate and resolve technical issues with minimal business disruption
  • Serve as SME and provide end-user support and training as needed


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Teamcenter PLM application development and support
  • Proficiency in Java, C++, ITK, and SOA-based Teamcenter development
  • Strong understanding of PLM processes and best practices
  • Experience with system integrations and enterprise architecture
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across business and IT teams


Nice to Have

  • Exposure to other PLM platforms and engineering systems
  • Experience in Agile or DevOps environments
  • Knowledge of enterprise middleware and integration platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
