Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our People Operations team and lead our recruitment efforts as we grow. In this role, you will be responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment for a wide range of technical roles, including software engineering, data science, and product management. As a secondary responsibility, you will also support non-technical hiring needs, such as operations, sales, and marketing roles. You will work closely with hiring managers, founders, and the Director of People Operations to build a seamless and inclusive candidate experience while sourcing top talent in a competitive market
This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence and shape our talent acquisition strategy as we scale from 50 to 100+ employees
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage full-cycle recruiting processes for technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates
Partner with hiring managers and leadership to define role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and interview processes
Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to identify and engage high-caliber candidates across technical and non-technical functions
Ensure an excellent candidate experience through consistent communication, timely feedback, and thoughtful interactions
Manage and optimize our Applicant Tracking System (Lever) and ensure data integrity across recruiting processes
Report on recruiting metrics and provide insights to drive continuous improvement in hiring practices
Required Qualifications
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on technical roles in software engineering, data science, or product management, ideally at a startup or early-stage technology company
Proven success sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and other platforms
Experience managing multiple requisitions and working directly with hiring managers to drive recruiting processes
Familiarity with recruiting for non-technical roles (e.g., sales, marketing, operations)
Strong understanding of technical roles and ability to evaluate candidates for technical skills and cultural fit
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on creating a positive candidate experience
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Lever, Greenhouse, or similar tools
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, scaling startup environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting for startups or early-stage technology companies
Familiarity with People analytics and reporting on recruiting KPIs (e.g., time-to-fill, conversion rates)
