Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, WV that is looking for a high-caliber, well-rounded Technical Project Manager. Summary: The client is looking for a Technical Project Manager with experience partnering with application teams to bring solutions to market. This role will facilitate technical adoption of our go-forward technology solutions by partnering with technical stakeholders in both horizontal and vertical business lines to ensure they are able to adopt, adapt, and shift away from legacy solutions to our newer CICD and Security platforms. Duties Include:

  • Be a critical factor and driving force in the delivery of technical projects
  • Gain and maintain trust of Project Leaders & Stakeholders firmwide
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership across all business units
  • Ensure alignment between technical and non-technical stakeholders on ensuring that all components of the target delivery are on-time and of high quality
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize current and future requirements and enhancements which allows the business and the organization to scale and grow quickly
  • Partner with Cyber Security in assuring our delivery meets security requirements and is secure-by-default
  • Develop well defined processes for managing the testing and integrating new technologies to meet both business and technical needs
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure action items are tracked to drive accountability

Requirements

  • PMI/ITIL or similar PM qualifications and certifications
  • 5+ years of project management experience - managing medium to high complexity projects
  • Technical project leadership background in a service related or similar appropriate technical environment
  • Experience Utilizing JIRA and Kanban boards for task management and workflow visualization
  • Working knowledge and experience with cloud and DevOps terms and technologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Initiative to take assignments to their logical conclusion
  • Growing organizational awareness - understanding of how project fits into organizational goals
  • Operationally manages project activities to remove barriers and drive results
  • Effective stakeholder management - ability to identify influencers and engage appropriately
  • Effective at identifying and leading team to mitigate complex risks
  • Proven ability to manage technology issues impacting customers; Starter finisher, ability to deal with confrontation and conflict
  • Committed to continuous improvement, including sharing and adoption of best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Collaborative but able to work autonomously with minimal guidance in a rapidly changing environment; Strong presentation and communication capabilities
  • Self-driven, willing to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Preferences (nice to have):

  • Computer Science degree or other degree with equivalent work experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
