Join our Tech & Product department as a visionary Technical Product Manager, driving the success of our Search API team. This team's critical mission: to enable customers to seamlessly discover products within our vast 10 million-item catalog. This role uniquely combines deep technical acumen with strategic product management, partnering with a focused, cross-functional team to harmonize technical strategy with commercial and product goals.

Your contribution to success

• Develop and communicate a compelling product vision for the search API that aligns with overall business goals and customer needs.
• Define, prioritize and validate user stories and product enhancements with a focus on customer journey and business value.
• Continuously analyze our customers' search behavior to generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate closely with the product analysts, engineers and data science to discover effective solutions, and then work together to deliver those solutions to market.
• Act as an interface between the product team and key stakeholders, including other product teams, business units, customers and senior management, to ensure product strategies are well communicated and understood.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation within the product team.

Your success factors

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, economics, engineering or a comparable field. An advanced degree is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager in a fast-paced technology environment or e-commerce ideally on search related technologies.
• Strong technical acumen, enabling understanding of complex systems and logic, and the ability to follow engineering discussions on search and APIs to ensure short- and long-term product needs are met.
• Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to challenging problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks, and to present your argument in a data-informed, written narrative.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical thinking skills with a strong focus on user needs, data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into clear, concise documentation and presentations.
• Fluent English skills. German is a plus.
