New Product Introduction (NPI) technical program manager for Secure Connected Edge (SCE) business MPU/MCU/Connectivity products. In this role, the NPI Program Manager will be responsible for managing/driving multi-disciplinary engineering core teams for defining, developing, and delivering to SCE's commercial and industrial product requirements and timeline. Candidates for this role should possess extensive experience and understanding of the semiconductor industry, chip development, and key competitive differentiators for our products including manufacturability, price, power, die size, system performance and time to market.
Job Summary
Responsibility for NPI program including management of multi-disciplinary engineering core teams, planning development, resourcing, and budget throughout the product lifecycle.
Driving project execution and assuring alignment with all project teams (IC architecture and design, SW architecture and design, security and safety design, applications engineering, product and test, board development, market, documentation, finance).

Driving and delivering project metrics and on-time reports
Aligning with other corporate NXP organizations and general business strategy

Qualifications/Experience
BSEE, advanced degree preferred
A successful candidate will have at least 10 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry with a strong track record of driving IC programs, SoC design and/or embedded software projects
> 5 years as Program / Project Manager on complex NPI projects.
Multicultural / international experience driving programs across several locations. English proficiency is a must
Subject matter background and experience in SoC design, SW development, product/test development or applications
Strong Program Management skills and experience in managing complex technical projects including hardware & software
MS Project and/or Sciforma or other Product and Portfolio Management tool experience
PMI/PMP certification desirable but not required
Strong foundational knowledge and program management approach to drive NPI execution within established timelines and target costs
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to drive business and innovation
Ability to quickly recognize and articulate barriers and critical path to success across teams
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with complex environments
Strongly oriented toward process improvement and operational excellence
A highly effective leader who can develop and inspire a team to the highest levels of performance
