Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and secure partnerships that enhance our platform’s privacy features, focusing on FHE, MPC, and ZK technologies.
• Market Expansion: Research and penetrate new markets where privacy in decentralized applications can be a game-changer.
• Developer Ecosystem Growth: Engage with and grow the developer community around Calimero’s privacy technologies.
• Ecosystem Integration: Work with internal teams to integrate partner solutions seamlessly into our framework.
• Education and Evangelism: Advocate for privacy in Web3 at industry events, educating potential partners on our technology’s benefits.
• Regulatory and Compliance: Navigate the regulatory landscape to ensure partnerships align with privacy laws and standards.
  
  

Requirements

Experience:

• 3-5+ years in business development, with a preference for experience in Web3, blockchain or crypto sectors.
• Previous success in securing partnerships, particularly with blockchain projects, DeFi platforms, or other Web3 companies.
  
  

Technical Understanding

• A solid grasp of blockchain technology, including smart contracts, tokenomics, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Familiarity with various blockchain protocols like Ethereum, NEAR, Solana, Polygon, etc., and understanding of different consensus mechanisms.
• Understanding of privacy-preserving technologies like FHE, MPC, and ZK.
  
  

Network And Relationship Building

• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships within the blockchain and Web3 ecosystem, including developers, project founders, and industry leaders.
  
  

Strategic Thinking

• Ability to craft and execute strategic BD plans that align with company goals, expanding market reach or enhancing product offerings.
• Identifying potential partners that can add value to the company’s ecosystem.
  
  

Negotiation And Deal Structuring

• Strong negotiation skills, with experience in deal-making, including creating and closing partnership agreements, integrations, or investment deals.
• Understanding of token economics, equity deals, or revenue sharing models in Web3 contexts.
  
  

Communication

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to pitch ideas, represent the company at events, and maintain partner communication.
• Capability to translate complex technical concepts into business opportunities.
  
  

Market Analysis

• Skills in market research to understand trends, identify opportunities, and assess competitive landscapes within the Web3 sector.
  
  

Adaptability

• Comfort with the fast-paced, often unpredictable nature of the crypto industry, where strategies need to be agile and responsive to market changes.
  
  

Education

• While not always mandatory, a degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is often preferred or at least a demonstration of equivalent practical experience.
  
  

Additional Skills

• Experience with or understanding of regulatory environments surrounding cryptocurrencies and blockchain tech.
