About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Tax Manager to join the San Jose team in a
hybrid capacity. This individual will manage a diverse portfolio of tax clients, lead strategic planning and compliance, and mentor junior professionals—all while supporting the firm’s continued growth and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review complex tax engagements for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and nonprofit entities.
- Deliver proactive tax planning and consulting services to clients across multiple industries.
- Supervise and mentor staff; provide regular coaching and technical guidance.
- Conduct tax research to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to the firm’s growth strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s in Taxation is a plus.
- Active CPA license is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.
- At least 3 years of management experience, including overseeing tax teams and engagements.
- Expertise in tax strategies and regulations related to privately held companies, nonprofits, and employee benefit plans.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
