• Assist with maintenance of all hardware and software related to Alarm, Video and Card Access Monitoring Environments at the Charlotte, NC facility, and to the extent possible at the Charlotte NC facility.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and software/hardware upgrades as required:
• Alarm Monitoring Application, SQL database and Client upgrades
• Alarm and Receiver software updates as released
• Server and PC hardware refreshes
• Video Application Services
• Card Access Application services
• Provide supporting documentation, planning assistance, and on-site support for all Disaster Recovery tests.
• Assist as needed working with customer account IT and technology vendors to implement new technologies and maintain or troubleshoot existing services
• Interface with suppliers as needed for:
• New product rollouts
• Continuing support of critical Monitoring Center life safety systems
• Development of new features or services
• Support the customer onsite personnel with regards to:
• Alarm Monitoring Application setup, programming, and database maintenance
• Alarm panel programing and user profile structure
• Video application configuration and database structure
• Perform health checks of DVR’s / Cameras / Switches
• Assist with development and testing of new equipment and products.
• On-Call Support
• Rotating on-call schedule
  

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED required
• 2 years supporting Electronic Security Systems
• Alarm Monitoring Application or other equivalent system experience is ideal
• Alarm Panel experience a plus
• Video Systems Environment Application Services
• Experience with Alarm Receivers
• Card Access Applications
• Experience with Windows / Linux Operating System updates to servers
• Preferred Experience:
• Verint Video
• Hanwa IP camera certified
• IT network operations
