Senior Systems Integrator – DCGS-N Leidos National Security Sector | North Charleston, SC
Lead the Future of Naval Intelligence Systems
Leidos is seeking an
Senior Systems Integrator to support the
Distributed Common Ground System, Navy (DCGS-N) Family of Systems (FoS), including DCGS-N INC 1, the
DCGS-N Enterprise Node (DEN), Joint Concentrator Architecture (JCA), and
Intelligence Carry-On Program (ICOP). DCGS-N serves as the
Navy’s premier Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) processing system. This role is a
key contributor to software integration, testing, and fleet support, requiring deep expertise in
PMW-120’s Engineering Change Control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Define DCGS-N baselines and versioning, leading studies on upgrades and system enhancements.
- Manage Enterprise Change Requests (ECRs) to document and implement system modifications.
- Support government leads overseeing afloat and ashore systems.
- Provide expertise in integration, installation, testing, and evaluation activities.
- Advise the Chief Integration / Software Engineer on network communication matters.
- Participate in design reviews, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks impacting project success.
- Assist Program Office and System Engineering scheduling activities.
- Coordinate build plans with Systems Engineering leadership.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience, training, and/or certifications may substitute degree requirement.
- Active Top Secret clearance, with eligibility for TS/SCI approval (must meet DCID 6/4 requirements).
- Expertise in engineering documentation, technical drawings, and planning.
- Strong background in Agile processes and CI/CD methodologies.
- IAT II Certifications: CompTIA Security+ and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
- 10+ years of experience with Navy network communications and familiarity with NTP-4 (Naval Telecommunications Procedures).
- IAT II qualified per DoD 8570.1M/8140.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team of highly skilled engineers.
Preferred
- Master’s Degree in in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Background in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) or Distributed Common Ground Station (DCGS) operations.

Pay Range
Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
