Description Seeking a highly motivated System Administrator to support a federal customer's goals to modernize and transform their IT environment to efficiently deliver new technologies to their workforce. Will serve as a Senior/SME level System Administrator for unclassified and classified systems. At least an active Secret clearance is required. Responsibilities Collaborate with management to understand system needs Recommend configurations, updates, and activities to meet customer needs Administer large-scale Windows-based environments, commercial off-the-shelf applications, and government-developed enterprise applications Administer and maintain enterprise management software Provide Windows administration, server monitoring, and troubleshooting in physical and virtual environments Configure, manage, and monitor Windows Internet Information Services (IIS) applications Manage and maintain configuration and operation of computer systems and servers Ensure uptime, performance, resources, and security of the computers, servers, and/or systems meet user requirements and aligns with IT policies and best practices Provide routine automation, maintain security policies, troubleshoot, train, and offer technical guidance and support for projects Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and systems issues Requirements Active/current Secret Clearance is required at the time of hire 7+ years of relevant hands-on Systems Administration experience Bachelors degree in a related field or relevant work experience Experienced and proficient with Office 365, Windows 10, ProPlus, PowerShell, Azure, Active Directory, vSphere, Linux, RHEL, Unix, Service Manager, Microsoft Identify Manager, and other technologies Well versed on infrastructure tools and technologies such as DNS, DHCP, VDI, SQL Servers, IIS, Apache, SAN, Hyper-Converged, LAN, WLAN, VLAN, OSI model, TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, PKI, AWS, and Azure Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams Job Location Merrifield, VA - On-Site
