More About The Role

As a Supplier Quality Engineer CCW (based in Poland – Piła, Kętrzyn or Łódź), you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end quality relationship with the allocated supply base. This role involves qualifying suppliers, validating and releasing products, and exercising the authority to veto if necessary. You will be tasked with implementing supplier quality functional excellence initiatives in accordance with the Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) approach and applicable methods.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring the onboarding of the right supplier through our supplier quality onboarding process. Additionally, you will support the project team by allocating the right supplier to the right project through the appropriate product or component specification. You will ensure that quality is contractually agreed upon with the supplier and be an integral part of the project team, supporting the AQP process and releasing the product and/or component through the applicable release process (PPAP, FAI, etc.). In case of quality issues, you will execute the appropriate problem-solving methods (8D, 4C, etc.) and ensure that the cost of non-quality is recovered from the supplier.

More About You

We are in search of candidates with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering and over 7 years of experience in supplier quality management, ideally in a regulated industry such as Automotive, Aerospace, or Medical. Knowledge of the lighting industry is desirable. The ideal candidate will have confirmed experience in supplier auditing using VDA standards, as well as experience with PPAP, AQP, 8D & Problem Solving, and MSA. Experience in SQ CCW commodity (Connectors, Cables, and Wires) and SQ mechanical components (plastic injection, die-casting, aluminum extrusion, metal parts, etc.) is required. The candidate should be a self-starter, capable of working in matrix teams and able to successfully interact within different teams including quality, engineering, design, manufacturing, and the supply chain. Fluency in English is mandatory.
