WSP is seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Structural Engineer to join our team for a major stormwater infrastructure project in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, leadership ability, and a strong background in structural design and assessment of infrastructure systems, particularly in stormwater and drainage-related works.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Lead and oversee structural design and analysis for stormwater infrastructure, including culverts, channels, retention structures, and related components.
• Coordinate with hydrology, hydraulic, and geotechnical teams to ensure fully integrated solutions.
• Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, material specifications, and design documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards (e.g., ACI, BS, Eurocodes, Saudi Building Code).
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support their development.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders during design, review, and construction phases.
• Support the project team in risk assessments, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
• Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations as required.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 5 years in stormwater or infrastructure projects.
• Previous consultancy experience is essential.
• Proven ability to lead structural design teams and coordinate multi-disciplinary input.
• Strong knowledge of engineering software (e.g., STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, Revit).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional registration or chartership is highly desirable (e.g., PE, CEng).
