We are a part of the Mobility Product team within TELUS Consumer Solutions (TCS), responsible for Network Monetization and Go-to-market. Our focus is on evaluating and prioritizing network initiatives, and leading a robust go-to-market process to amplify the impact of our network investments. We partner with network engineering and cross-functional marketing teams to bring new experiences to life, and deliver a reliable and premium network experience for TELUS customers nationwide.
We are seeking an analytical and strategic Product and Market Insights lead to drive data-driven decision-making for our wireless network strategy. This role will be pivotal in developing comprehensive reporting, analyses, and insights by integrating data from network engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
What You’ll Do
Develop and implement methodologies to measure the impact of network improvements on customer satisfaction and business performance
Lead the fusion of data from multiple sources (network engineering, sales, marketing) to create a holistic view of our wireless network performance and market position
Conduct analyses to prioritize regions for network improvements based on market potential and network needs
Develop and maintain a suite of reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for wireless network strategy, marketing campaigns, and customer retention
Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in network performance, customer behavior, and market dynamics
Stay current with industry trends and competitive landscapes to provide context for internal data analyses
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance in insights generation
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making
Qualifications
What you bring
A passion for problem-solving, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights
Strategic thinking and business acumen, able to uncover hidden opportunities by stitching together multiple datasets
Adept at building personal networks and getting access to tools and resources across matrixed organizations
Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills; able to present complex information effectively to all levels of the organization, including non-technical audiences
Experience in handling large datasets and performing complex data manipulations
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI)
Solid understanding of wireless network technologies and telecommunications market dynamics
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
Great-to-haves
5+ years of progressive experience in data analysis and insights generation, preferably in the telecommunications industry
Post-secondary degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
Experience in project management and cross-functional team collaboration
