About the role:
You’re a strategist with 5+ years of experience whose proven smarts, passion and curiosity have made you committed to helping clients understand and navigate our ever-changing world. You’ll apply a number of tools and techniques to uncover, articulate, and architect clear and compelling strategies and unexpected brand ideas that carve out a unique and differentiating positioning for product and service brands. You’ll also have an interest in behavior change theories that help inform various health promotion initiatives.
In addition, you’ll work with creatives and technologists as a core member of a multi-disciplinary engagement team. You will provide business-relevant perspective on communication challenges, including developing an understanding of the market and competitive factors, identifying and prioritizing opportunities, and helping to frame the overarching story of a project, most often in a creative brief/creative development process. Ultimately, the job of the Planner is to identify insights and strategies that will inspire creative solutions that help grow our client’s businesses.
In this position, you will work closely with clients, building relationships and fostering an environment of partnership so they see you as an extension of their team, someone they can reach out to and lean on when needed. You will also influence client’s marketing or communication planning processes – understanding user needs and market opportunities, envisioning new solutions, go-to-market and support strategies.
