Our Store Development and Design Department is looking for a



Senior Store Design & Development Project Manager (f/m/d) (100%)



The Senior Store Design & Development Project Manager supports the design and the concepts preparation, development and successful execution on the overall Triumph and sloggi POS projects, manteining and ensuring consistancy of the Look&Feel along all the points of sales typologies, globally, matching the expected targeted costs. This encompasses all Triumph and sloggi branded spaces (retail and wholesale), so they range from Owned and Operated stores to Franchise and Distributor-owned stores and all key SIS spaces.

Our office is based in Segrate. The person will need to travel occasionally to Switzerland HQ on certain days, as required.



Your Responsibilities:


  • Develop and manage Store Concepts for the various Business Models, also using specific 3D software, and ensure the adoption and implementation of the Global Store Concepts in a regionally relevant, affordable/cost-effective and On-Brand manner
  • Design and drawing preparation of high-quality retail spaces in all channels that meet global guidelines as well as fit to local market requirements (AutoCAD 2D/3D or similar)
  • Develop new fixtures & other relevant elements, or implement existing, in 2D/3D, as and when needed to match expected targeted costs
  • Create/maintain design standards and guidelines that can be applied across various locations and for all the business models, also for suppliers and materials used such as flooring, lighting, signage, general contractors etc. Ensure compliance to Triumph’s and sloggi’s Standards and Practices
  • Act as the custodian of the concepts, preserving their Look & Feel. Work on implementation when needed by stakeholders to meet new targets (aesthetics, costs, capacity)
  • Set/looking for the parameters for innovative retail spaces and provide guidelines for capacity and suitability of the available pos formats. Work constructively and cross-functionally to ensure alignment on SKU capacity, Category mix and POP spaces from Merchandising, Planning, Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising to meet the business expectations
  • Ensure that store designs reflect the brand's identity, values, and positioning in the market
  • Globally support (incl. Asia/Japan) needs to roll out any of the concepts and need ongoing support/directions on many projects and countries, in some cases with local furniture productions (project layout/ development/ validation)
  • Support on Fixture sourcing, centrally and locally /if/when needed sourcing, reviewing, validating projects and materials
  • Roll Out - support the execution (construction phase) in the regions and ensure the store development targeted plans are reached with consistent high quality and within the forecasted timelines
  • Ensure technical analysis and optimization of projects to best support local architect and internal stakeholders
  • Work on the efficiency of the Construction and the Concepts, bringing costs savings or specific requests
  • Work with the selected network of suppliers, ranging from Store Design/Architect firms to Store Fixture suppliers. Interface with them for all non-order related topics, including but not limited to material specifications, dimensions, finishing, prices etc.
  • Coordinate and manage meetings with regions and internal/external stakeholders and/or vendors
  • Tracking available budgets and expenses associated with spending or design
  • Training and supporting the regions on the application on the concept globally, ensuring consistency/quality and that processes and practices are in accordance with the Triumph and sloggi policies. Prepare and review projects as well review local materials for approval



Your ideal profile:


  • At least 10 years of working experience in the retail sector
  • Bachelor/master’s degree in architecture, construction/engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience in apparel fashion or other retail organizations (preferably lingerie), point-of sale design or store development
  • Design and Project Management Skills are essential
  • In-depth understanding of construction and interior design principles, costs and practices
  • On-site project management experience is needed
  • Knowledge of Architecture design and construction, 3D rendering and furniture design
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Auto-CAD 2D/3D, Vectorworks 2D/3D or similar, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator or Indesign, Rendering software is a plus
  • Fluent English and Italian
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential and to work cross functionally within departments and outside consultants
  • Knowledge of manufacturing tooling and fixture design/construction/costs
  • Support the regions, building strong relationships & clear lines of communication
  • Highly motivated in a challenging ever-changing environment. Focus persistently on outcomes, establish goals, monitor progress, and ultimately achieve the goals.
