Key Skills: DFT Design

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act as technical lead for a dedicated DFT team managing:
  • DFT implementation of advanced Infineon microcontroller products
  • Scan insertion, ATPG, Logic BIST (LBIST), and Memory BIST (MBIST)
  • Develop and verify DFT architecture; deliver test patterns for production testing
  • Support silicon bring-up with stable and efficient test pattern validation
  • Collaborate on microcontroller-level DFT methodology and flow improvements
  • Coordinate DFT work packages, timelines, and reporting
  • Interact with cross-functional teams including Project Management, Layout, and Test Engineering

Skills Required:

  • Minimum 6+ years of hands-on DFT experience with complex SoC designs
  • Strong track record in scan insertion and ATPG pattern generation
  • Expertise in MBIST design and SRAM repair techniques
  • Proficient in debugging test pattern failures and silicon bring-up
  • Experienced with DFT RTL insertion and integration workflows
  • Familiarity with test concept or DFT architecture definition
  • Programming/scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Perl, Tcl, Shell)
  • Proven leadership and coordination skills across multi-disciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with industry-standard DFT tools (e.g., Synopsys DFT Compiler, TetraMAX, Tessent)
  • Knowledge of ATE systems and production test flows
  • Effective communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or related technical field
