Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sr. Staff Cyber Security Engineer to support the CSESS program in Virginia Beach. In this senior-level role, you’ll serve as a technical leader, guiding the design and implementation of sophisticated security systems and controls that protect critical infrastructure and sensitive data. You’ll lead efforts in proactive security monitoring, threat detection, and response, while staying abreast of the evolving cybersecurity landscape. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in shaping security strategies, mentoring junior engineers, and fostering strong collaboration across cross-functional IT and cybersecurity teams.   • ions:Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field, with 6 to 8 years of directly relevant experi
  • ence.Solid understanding of system security design processes, including defense-in-depth strategies and key information assurance principles such as confidentiality, integrity, availability, non-repudiation, and access con
  • trol.Experienced in risk management, configuration control, change management, contingency planning, incident handling, auditing, and navigating compliance frameworks such as the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ICD
  • 503.Demonstrates proficiency with one or more of the following areas: security tools, hardware/software security implementations, encryption methods, communication protocols, security testing tools, and other related security mechan
  • isms.Skilled in evaluating software systems and architectures to ensure compliance with security requirements for processing classified or sensitive informa
