Requisition ID: 427403 Work Area: Customer Service and Support Expected Travel: 0% Career Status: Professional Employment Type: Regular Full Time Career Level: T3-2 Additional Locations: ORIGINAL POSTING DATE: 05/19/25 Job Title: Senior Solutions Support Architect Location: Palo Alto, CA Work Model: Hybrid Work Model Purpose and Objective: Ariba, Inc. seeks a Senior Solution Support Architect to be responsible for testing, maintaining and monitoring systems for Ariba Network, including Cloud Integration Gateway Supplier side issues and End to end Integration of IES integration for customers. Expectations and Tasks: Cross-organizational lead for Ariba Network issues, including product issues and Cloud Health monitoring. Predictive and proactive support using Cloud Health to identify issues before customer reports and fix them. Develop tools that improve Supportability and usability of SAP products. Setup automated monitoring within Cloud Health for Ariba network business flows and train Support Engineers to troubleshoot and fix all issue proactively. Represent SAP Ariba in any customer-facing situation for Ariba Network and Cloud Integration Gateway as the Product Expert. Debug Java code using Opengrok to obtain access to the Ariba codes for customer issues reported in the space of Ariba Network, Catalog Integration with Guided Buying, SSO related issues, and Cloud Integration Gateway requiring working knowledge of Object-Oriented programming, SAP ABAP programming and Partner Directory. Report defects identified though Cloud Health monitoring and discussed urgent issue with Development Architects and Leadership. Engage and collaborate with multiple teams such as delivery, consulting, sales, deployment, engineering, supplier integrators, supplier catalog integration team, Quality teams, Product managers, Product owners, and multiple team in support organization to drive/ resolve customer issues /innovate new features and functionality /improve the product quality / pro-actively handle many complex situations for any customers/ assisting and collaborating with any team within the organization. Education and Occupational Experience: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Information Systems or a related field and six years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Information Systems or a related field and four years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience: * Experience must involve three years in each of the following: * ABAP * Enterprise Resource Planning; * Analyzing system Landscape and Technical Issues; * SQL; * HR Domain developments of custom programs for customers; * Object-Oriented Programming; * Technical Documentation writing; and * Defect Management including Collaboration, Implementation and Troubleshooting and Fixing. * Experience must also include each of the following: * Materials Management and Sales Distribution business process lifecycle developments of custom programs for customers; and * Business Process Design and Development This position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program subject to the eligibility criteria outlined in the
