We're working with one of the most up and coming MedTech companies in Boston that's looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of test strategies, plans, and automated frameworks for embedded and application-level medical software.
• Guide risk-based testing approaches and ensure traceability to design inputs and regulatory standards (FDA, IEC 62304.
• Collaborate with development, systems, and quality teams to define verification protocols and acceptance criteria.
• Perform advanced defect analysis, support root cause investigations, and champion continuous quality improvement.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements across the software testing lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software testing experience in a regulated environment, preferably medical devices.
• Deep knowledge of software verification techniques and regulatory standards (IEC 62304, ISO 14971, FDA 21 CFR Part 820).
• Proficiency in test automation and scripting (e.g., Python, C#, or equivalent).
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and leadership skills.
