We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Software Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.
You will play a vital role in delivering and maintaining our SaaS-based product by upgrading dependencies, migrating platforms and performing security upgrades. We would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Address gem vulnerabilities by upgrading dependencies based on Snyk reports
Migrate Jenkins instances to Buildkite
Upgrade Ruby and Rails to their latest stable versions
Implement system upgrades including MongoDB, MySQL and Redis
Migrate servers from CentOS7 to Rocky Linux 8
Perform weekly OS package security upgrades
Ensure the system performance and uptime
Requirements
Strong experience with Ruby and Rails ecosystem or extensive software development experience in maintaining SaaS codebase and its infrastructure
Hands-on Linux experience and systems engineering
Experience with Infrastructure-as-code (IAC) and Configuration Management (CM) tools like Terraform and Chef
Experience of being on-call
CI/CD experience
Nice to have
Knowledge of Elastic stack
Experience with Nagios
Experience with Chef
MySQL knowledge
MongoDB experience
Familiarity with Nginx
CDN knowledge
Jenkins experience

Salary range €3.4K-€4.9K gross, based on your experience and interview results.
