Job Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and development of embedded Linux systems for automotive applications
- Development of drivers, middleware, and automotive applications
- Development with automotive devices such as camera sensor.
- Create technical specifications based on project requirements
- Optimize security requirements and real-time performance for automotive systems
- Problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Lead technical team, mentor junior engineers
- Adhere to automotive standards (e.g., ISO 26262, AUTOSAR) and manage software quality
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams (system/validation)
Required Skills And Experience
- 10+ years of experience in embedded Software development
- 5+ years of experience in embedded Linux development
- Proficient in C or C++ programming
- Understanding of real-time OS (RTOS) and microcontroller architecture
- Experience with scripting languages such as Shell or Python
- Experience using version control tools like Git or Gerrit
- Experience with build systems such as Yocto or Buildroot
Preferred Skills
- Experience in kernel modules and driver development
- Experience in automotive or automotive-focused embedded system development
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc.)
- Knowledge of ARM, MIPS, or other embedded processors
- Experience with automotive safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) and functional safety
- Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices and Agile
- Understanding of networking protocols (UDP, CAN, etc.)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Other
- Team player with a proactive problem-solving attitude
- Able to work independently and manage tasks autonomously
- Fluent in Japanese and reading/writing in English
