Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team, focusing on large-scale, enterprise observability cloud monitoring systems. This role is crucial in expanding the provisioning capabilities of our existing system and requires a technical leader who can provide guidance to and contribute alongside our team.

What you'll get to do

  • Lead the design, development, and enhancement of our provisioning system within the enterprise observability cloud monitoring framework.
  • Serve as a technical leader within the team, providing guidance and expertise in software development practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Utilize your expertise in Java, AWS, and SFDC to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the provisioning system.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.

Must-have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on provisioning and account management systems.
  • Proven expertise in Java, Springboot, AWS, and Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in remote, hybrid, or on-site settings.

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range $174,800.00 - 240,350.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range $157,320.00 - 216,315.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range $139,840.00 - 192,280.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
