About the Role:

Golden Technology, a premier IT staffing firm with offices in Cincinnati, St. Louis, and Raleigh, is excited to present a key opportunity for a Senior Software Developer with one of our global clients in the pharmaceutical logistics sector. This role is central to the modernization of the organization’s logistics operations management system—supporting critical workflows in a highly regulated and impactful industry.

Work Model:

This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite weekly in Durham, NC. Local or nearby candidates preferred.

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in C#.NET (Framework 4.x or Core/Standard)

• Experience in logistics or platform-heavy industries such as retail, banking, or insurance

• Proficiency in TDD, refactoring, and pair programming

• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC5 in enterprise-level environments

• Agile mindset and XP practices: TDD, BDD, CI/CD, evolutionary system architecture

• Strong understanding of object-oriented and event-driven software design

• Familiarity with git, ORMs (Fluent NHibernate preferred, EF accepted), and LINQ

• Effective communicator and collaborative team player

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• MAUI or Xamarin mobile development experience

• Blazor WebAssembly

• Azure DevOps: CI/CD pipeline setup and deployment to Azure Cloud

• SpecFlow for BDD

• MassTransit or RabbitMQ

• SQL Server (2016 or newer), JavaScript, JQuery

• Familiarity with Telerik UI components

• Exposure to FRP (Functional Reactive Programming), especially Rx

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the continuous enhancement of logistics systems through agile delivery

• Apply engineering best practices including TDD, peer programming, and story sizing

• Work closely with business analysts, QA, and end-users to refine and deliver user stories

• Mentor developers and contribute to technical leadership

• Support high-availability system modernization in a 24/7/365 environment

• Collaborate across internal and vendor teams to enhance skills, processes, and product quality

• Participate in occasional travel for cross-functional team collaboration
