We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a leading Crypto/Blockchain firm based in Hong Kong.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining core banking infrastructures. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that banking systems comply with regulatory requirements and security standards while providing exceptional customer experiences. This role demands both technical expertise and a strong understanding of banking to create a high-performance online banking system. You must also have strong knowledge in Go Lang.

What You Will Do:

• Propose the technical design and implementation of core banking systems using Golang.
• Establish the foundation for our digital banking platform in collaboration with the Infra/SRE team, encompassing payment networks, account management, and transaction processing.
• Design and implement secure and scalable banking APIs in accordance with Open API specifications.
• Work alongside compliance teams to develop robust KYC/AML systems and processes.
• Create data reporting flows that fulfill regulatory requirements and support business intelligence needs.
• Architect and implement financial treasury processes, FX exchange capabilities, and crediting systems.
• Guide teams in integrating with payment networks and banking partners.
• Ensure all systems comply with banking regulations and security standards.
• Promote engineering excellence through best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Over 5 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in financial technology.
• More than 2 years of experience in the banking industry.
• Strong proficiency in Golang.
• Proven track record of building and scaling banking or financial services platforms.
• In-depth understanding of banking operations, payment networks, and financial systems.
• Familiarity with data security practices specific to financial institutions.
• Experience with treasury management systems, FX exchange, and crediting systems.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and Open API specifications.
• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native applications.
• Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in Chinese and English.
