Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Java in Westlake, TX. Duties Include:

• Designing and programming highly functional and scalable software applications using Java, Sprint Boot
• Entire software development lifecycle, including development, unit testing, QA test automation, CI/CD, and containerization using tools including GitHub, SonarQube, Jenkins Core, Kubernetes
• Deploying and supporting large-scale solutions that impact millions of customers and thousands of associates across a complex ecosystem
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 6-9 years of hands-on experience designing and programming highly functional and scalable software applications using Java, Sprint Boot
• Proficient in designing, building, and documenting customer facing RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with AWS services architecture and solution patterns
• Experience with entire software development lifecycle, including development, unit testing, QA test automation, CI/CD, and containerization using tools including GitHub, SonarQube, Jenkins Core, Kubernetes
• Experience in deploying and supporting large-scale solutions that impact millions of customers and thousands of associates across a complex ecosystem
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in customer identity and access management preferred
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
