Role: Sr. Software Engineer (Java, Hadoop, HBase, Oracle DB, Healthcare Industry)

Duration: 6 months Months Contract - W2 candidates only;

No Corp to corp (C2C).

Required Skill-sets: Must have experience with Java/j2ee, Hadoop, HBase, Oracle Database, Distributed System Architecture, Navigation, TomCat, Websphere, Data Formats/Transformation (json, avro, protobuff), Linux;

Understanding of Healthcare IT EHR Systems and Integrated Technologies - Healthcare industry experience is preferred.

Strong Software Development Skills: Proficient in Java, and experienced in full software development lifecycle—designing, coding, debugging, testing, and modifying software.

Expert in Distributed Systems and Architecture: Experienced with distributed system architecture (such as Hadoop) and capable of handling complex, multi-component systems with concurrency and low-level issues.

Database Knowledge: Familiar with HBase and Oracle databases and their integration in software solutions, especially with large-scale data operations.

Web Server Management: Experience with application servers like Tomcat and Websphere.

Data Formats & Transformation: Expertise in data formats like JSON, Avro, and Protocol Buffers, along with data transformation techniques, which are important for handling large volumes of data in distributed systems.

Linux Proficiency: Comfort working in Linux environments, which is often the backdrop for modern enterprise software applications.

* Min 8 to 10 years of experience in analysing, design, code, debug, test and modify new software or enhancements while considering software abilities

* Create strategic technical design for specific software needing updates/maintenance

* Provide high-level architecture guidance and develop specifications to resolve software problems

* Consult with stakeholders on current functionality and complexity of adding features
