Summary

Job Description

Futureheads are exclusively partnered with a leading organisation in the business intelligence and publishing space, currently embarking on a major re-platforming project. We’re looking for a Senior Developer with deep Angular 18 expertise and an appetite for full stack development to join a talented, growing team.

Role Overview

You’ll play a key part in delivering rich, modern front-end experiences while also engaging with backend systems, API design, deployment strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. As the team and platform evolve, there’s significant scope for this position to develop into a future leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance user-facing features using Angular 18 (Signals, standalone components, zoneless change detection, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate with .NET Core REST APIs and help shape API design
  • Influence frontend architecture and contribute to system-wide engineering decisions (modularisation, state management, testing strategy)
  • Set and uphold quality standards through mentoring, code review, and leading by example
  • Identify and drive frontend performance optimisations (lazy loading, bundle size, Core Web Vitals)
  • Support improvements across the CI/CD pipeline, tooling, and developer experience
  • Actively contribute to shaping engineering processes, team structure, and long-term technical direction
  • Work cross-functionally with design, product, and stakeholders in an agile, outcome-oriented environment
  • Keep up to date with Angular and broader frontend/back-end ecosystem trends, bringing relevant innovations into the team

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Advanced experience with Angular v18 and its latest features (Signals, new syntax, zoneless rendering)
  • Strong command of Angular architecture, component design, and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with NgRx (ideally including Signal Stores) and RxJS
  • Confident integrating with REST APIs and navigating backend/frontend boundaries
  • Strong unit testing skills (Jasmine, Karma)
  • Experience working in agile teams, ideally in a scaling or product-driven environment

Desirable:

  • Experience building RESTful APIs using .NET / C#
  • Exposure to DevOps workflows (CI/CD, containerisation, deployment pipelines)
  • Interest or experience in mentoring, technical leadership, or architecture
  • Familiarity with performance, security, and accessibility standards

Why Apply?

This is a great fit for a frontend expert who wants broader technical and strategic ownership. If you love going deep on Angular but also want to influence systems, team structure, and delivery outcomes, this is the place to stretch and grow.

Role is once per week in the London Office.
