Summary

Medical device experience required ( Minimum 10 years of professional experience in software development from concept to product launch in industry, preferably in medical devices) Workplace: Campus Biotech Innovation Park, Geneva (Switzerland) Activity rate: 100% - can start at a lower percentage in a transition phase Eligibility: Swiss work permit / EU nationality Job Purpose Senior Software (SW) Engineer responsible for the design, architecture and development of the medical software which is part of EBAMed’s External Beam Ablation Medical Device, covering the full product lifecycle including verification & validation. As part of the R&D team, contribution to testing (human, animal and bench) in Europe and USA may be required. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic team in a fast expanding and innovative medical device company located in the city of Geneva. Key Responsibilities: · Participate and coordinate the whole medical software lifecycle in terms of design, architecture, development, integration and testing, software release and maintenance (including embedded software, real-time modules and integration into hospital information systems), in compliance with IEC 62304 standard. · Develop advanced ultrasound image processing tools, data analysis tools as well as testing and validation procedures, in collaboration with the team and external partners. · Contribute to the bench/pre-clinical/clinical/usability testing at the company office, and in various clinical sites in Europe and USA · Support the quality and risk management processes according to medical device standards. · Write technical documentation, progress reports and public presentations as needed. · Manage suppliers and software-related subcontractors. · Help drive a positive, collaborative and result-oriented culture at EBAMed. Profile MSc or PhD in Engineering, preferably in computer science or equivalent education Skills · Proficiency in the following software languages: Python, C++/C/C#, Tensorflow, TensorRT, ZeroMQ, Protobuff, SQlite, ActiveX/COM · Good knowledge in medical device standards: IEC 62304, IEC 62366, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, among others. · Hands-on knowledge of automation tools, ability to code embedded SW ([AG1] Beckhoff) · Familiar interfacing with Hospital Information Systems (PACS, hl7) · Keen to create code and perform data analysis · Rigorous, with strong analytical, problem-solving skills · Excellent documentation and communication skills · Autonomous, proactive, team player · Fast learner, enthusiastic, at ease in a rapidly evolving environment · Fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in French or Italian would be an asset Job Type: 100% Schedule: 8 Hour Shift Monday to Friday Work Location: Hybrid remote in 1202 Genève
