The Platform Team @ Pave The Platform team sits at the epicenter of Pave Engineering. As a member of the Developer Platform team, you will be tasked with designing and implementing scalable, secure cloud infrastructure and creating the development tooling and processes that enable Pave engineers to ship enterprise-quality software with high velocity. You will play a technical leadership role by providing design and architectural guidance to product teams, establishing foundational technologies, patterns, and practices, and helping to shape Pave's technical roadmap. What You'll Bring: * 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure. Proficiency in backend software development. * Experience using observability tooling to monitor, profile, and optimize web applications. * Experience incorporating security best practices in large technical designs. * High developer empathy. Passionate about improving the quality of life of fellow engineers. * Experience leading large technical projects with high ambiguity and numerous stakeholders. * Execution oriented. Eager to not only design technical solutions, but also dive into the technical weeds and drive implementation What You'll Be Doing: * Architect, build, and manage enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure to support the security & compliance requirements of Pave's largest, most sophisticated customers. * Develop a best-in-class development experience, equipping engineers with the tooling that enables rapid, high-quality software development. * Develop foundational components and patterns, with built-in security, observability, and performance, that allows product engineers to focus on driving customer value. * Define Engineering best practices and drive adoption across the organization.
