Job Description: Join Derivco as a Software Development Engineer in Test Level 2 and be part of our dynamic team! We're looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test Level 2 to join our team in our Barcelona office. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying the quality of software products by applying and optimizing basic functional and non-functional automated testing practices and tools, reducing cycle time and improving software quality and conformance. Key Responsibilities: Test Design: Create and review test plans and test cases based on software requirements. Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for different levels of testing (unit, integration, functional, etc.). Test Execution: Run manual and automated tests, analyzing results and reporting failures. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality. Code Review: Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and testing. Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in testing processes and propose solutions. Mentoring: Guide and support level 1 SDETs or new team members. Documentation: Maintain up-to-date test documentation, as well as reports of results and quality metrics. Risk Analysis: Assess risks related to software quality and help prioritize testing. Participation in Meetings: Attend team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and testing strategies. Implementation of New Tools Development of Frameworks Generation of Test Data Data Analysis Real-Time Testing Key Qualifications and Experience: 2-4 years of experience, with experience in software development. Relevant 1-year certification and at least 4 years of experience in software development/test automation. Minimum 5 years of experience in software development/test automation Specific & Business Knowledge Required: Regulations and compliance, bet types, performance metrics, payment integration, user experience (UX), data analytics, security, technology and tools.
