Our Galway based client is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer. The role is a 40 hour per week full time contract position. The successful candidate will be joining a team of engineers in creating top-notch applications, the will also have the chance to lead the design and delivery of products.

Your Skills and Expertise

• 10 years of experience in full stack software engineering
• You are a critical thinking and a drive for personal and professional growth, coupled with a willingness to actively participate in technical and design discussions.
• A demonstrated capability of designing scalable solutions
• A well-grounded understanding of Agile software development practices is essential.

Your technical experience:

• Experienced with API design, development, and working with Microservices architectures involving technologies like Java, REST, GraphQL, and NodeJS.
• Hands-on experience with Angular, Vue, or React JS
• Proficient with server-side languages and related ecosystems including Java EE, Apache Tomcat, Spring MVC/Spring Boot, Logback, SLF4j, and Maven.
• A solid background in client-side programming including Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, NPM, HTML/CSS, and RxJS.
