L3Harris Integrated Mission Systems is seeking a Software Engineer. Responsibilities include the translation of requirements into working and maintainable solutions for our C5 and Cyber Solution Centers. The selected candidate will apply technical proficiency across various stages of our SDLC, gather requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize and scope tasks. The selected candidate will be working as a key team member on a Scrum team and will be instrumental in setting our direction and strategy for product and infrastructure development.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Engineer located in Camden, NJ. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software systems. The daily tasks include writing and testing code, troubleshooting and debugging software applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, and ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Computer Science principles and concepts
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
• Experience with Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with agile methodologies is a plus
• Familiarity with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) is beneficial
  

Requirements

U.S. citizenship with a Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
6+ years of experience developing applications on simulated and target hardware
Usage of a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), such as Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks, or similar
Excellent oral and written communication skills
