Consultants are engaged with one client at a time, ensuring they have the time and space to remain acutely focused on delivering the highest quality solutions for their clients. Projects typically last 6-18 months and are collaborative as a matter of course – both with other Pyyne engineers and the client's technical and business stakeholders.

About The Job

Pyyne is expanding our engineering partnership with one of the US's largest consumer lifestyle companies. We are seeking a team of Mid level to Lead Software Engineers skilled in Java or Kotlin development, with openness to contributing to a React frontend as needed, to help bolster this team.

This is a highly product-oriented engineering organization with regular collaboration with business stakeholders, PMs, product designers, QA, and Scrum masters.

Must Have Skills

• 5+ years in Java or Kotlin (Kotlin preferred). All existing Java code is maintained as Java and there will be no need to convert to Kotlin
• 5+ years with Spring. Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security are currently in use
• Comfort with data modeling
• Understanding of backend system design

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineer, or related is preferred
• Experience: 5-10 years of Software Engineering experience, seniority ranges for this role are from mid to lead level
