As a Senior Software Engineer on the Tours Digital Solutions team, you'll play a key role in shaping the architecture and backend systems that power our customer-facing websites and internal platforms across multiple products and markets. You'll contribute across the entire stack, collaborating with other engineers, designers, marketers, and product managers to craft personalized, performant, and impactful digital experiences. What You'll Do * Help lead development for scalable full-stack solutions using modern frameworks (e.g. React, TypeScript, .NET, Node.js) * Design and deliver secure, performant systems with AWS-native services (Lambda, ECS, S3, Sage Maker, etc.) * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement personalized, testable, and user-focused features * Mentor engineers and help foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement * Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability * Own the quality of your code and help evolve our team processes in areas such as testing, performance, reliability, and scalability What You Bring * Deep experience with backend technologies such as .NET, Node.js, or similar * Strong understanding of REST API/GraphQL design and implementation * Solid hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (ideally AWS) * Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases * Experience in CI/CD pipelines, unit/integration testing, and monitoring practices * Comfort working across the stack with technologies like React, Next.js, and TypeScript Bonus Skills * Experience working with a headless CMS (eg., Storyblok) * Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as CDK and Terraform * Passion for performance optimization, SEO, and Web Vitals * Understanding of agile development practices and fast-paced team dynamics Who You Are * A doer with a builder's mindset and deep curiosity for web tech * A strong communicator and collaborator who mentors others and thrives in a team * Someone who values clean architecture, scalable systems, and great developer experience * Detail-oriented but practical-you know when to be thorough and when to move fast * Excited to work in an in-office environment with occasional travel (< 10%, e.g. Zurich) Why you'll love working here: Perks, Benefits, and more!
