Senior Software Engineer - Direct Hire

Location: Hybrid role based in Auburn Hills, Michigan

Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team. We're a financial institution serving communities across Michigan and the greater Minneapolis area, focused on improving our members' financial lives.

What You'll Do:

• Design and develop solutions to enhance business efficiency through vendor integrations, core processing system customizations, and report development
• Contribute to architectural decisions for both human and system integration points
• Take on active development tasks from the team's backlog
• Mentor junior developers while being an engaged team contributor

Required Skills:

• Deep competency using SQL for data manipulation in relational databases
• Proficiency in the Go programming language
• Front-end development experience (DOM, browser Developer Tools, JavaScript frameworks like Ext JS)
• Comfort working with Linux and Bash
• Experience with Git and collaboration via GitHub
• 3-5 years of experience as part of a software development team
