Senior Software Development Engineer - Web and Mobile Application (m/f/d)

In response to the growing trend of digitalization in the dental industry, we are expanding our software development presence in Malaysia. This strategic expansion aims to enhance our portfolio of software solutions for the dental market.

Your Responsibilities:

• design, develop and maintain scalable web and mobile applications, ensuring high performance, security and responsiveness
• lead the architecture and design discussions for front-end and back-end systems
• work with Product Owners, UI/UX designers and other engineers to refine requirements and develop innovative solutions
• design and implement intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications
• conduct usability testing, gather feedback and iterate UI/UX designs to enhance user experience
• ensure consistency in design, accessibility compliance and adherence to best UI/UX practices
• conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers and enforce best practices in software development
• stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies and best practices in web and mobile development
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack web and mobile application development
• strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and framework like ReactJS, VueJS or AngularJS
• experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java or Go
• expertise in RESTful APIs, GraphQL and cloud-based architectures
• proficiency in DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure
• strong UI/UX design skills, including experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD
• knowledge of design principles, usability best practices and accessibility standards
• strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• experience with Agile methodologies and modern development workflows
• excellent communication and collaboration skills
