About The Role

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be part of a Engineering Center team and will play a significant role in strengthening Northmill’s Bank development processes.Your expertise will contribute to developing new products and improving those already existing.You will be specifically responsible for:

• Improving processes across development team.
• Finding issues and bugs even before they appear; 'Shift left' approach.
• Working on quality solutions with developers, QA and product team.
• Working with a cloud environment.
• Reviewing requirements with the product department, including risk analysis for test planning purposes.
• Testing software in both automated (70%) and manual (30%) ways.
• Being a quality advocate and always asking “what for / why?”.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Very good understanding of the software development process.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and Typescript.
• 3+ years of commercial experience in tests automation.
• Solid know-how in test automation on different levels and manual testing.
• See your work as something more than just code you want to learn and improve every day.
• Genuine willingness to collaborate and work in a team (both developers and product managers).
• Good command of English and very good command of Swedish (both written and spoken).
• Willingness to work from office in a hybrid model (Stockholm city center)
• Residency in Sweden and either Sweden citizenship or citizenship of an EU country.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of working with web services/web REST API.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD.
• Experience with non-functional tests.
• Practical knowledge of cloud (preferred Amazon AWS cloud).
• Experience with JIRA, GIT (Bitbucket, Github).
