ABOUT MONFLO

Monflo is the only Dutch provider of Web3 bank accounts. Our goal is to move trillions from the traditional system into blockchain finance. We use a familiar concept — the bank account — but connect it to the blockchain in an innovative way. Every euro and crypto is fully verifiable, enabling maximum transparency, true ownership, and crypto mass adoption.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Architect and Design

• Lead the architectural design of our platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and future-proofing.
• Evaluate and implement most-suitable design patterns based on project needs.
• Integrate with multiple third-party providers for AML, KYC, custody, yield, and other use cases.

Blockchain & Smart Contracts

• Develop and integrate smart contracts using blockchain libraries (e.g., Viem) within a Node.js framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore blockchain use cases in fintech, and how adding smart contracts can optimize/improve company’s processes.

Technical Leadership

• Provide mentorship and guidance across the development lifecycle.
• Drive technical discussions, ensuring informed decisions on tooling, technologies, and design.
• Review code, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality engineering practices.

Communication & Collaboration

• Clearly articulate design and implementation decisions.
• Collaborate with product owner, product manager and UX designer to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Continuous Improvement

• Audit and optimize existing systems for performance and security.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and advocate for modern, efficient solutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Extensive Software Development Experience: 5+ years in software development, ideally with experience in fintech/web3.
• Blockchain & Smart Contracts: Low-level understanding of blockchain and smart contract development in Solidity.
• Full-Stack Proficiency: Strong experience with Backend and Frontend development in TypeScript.
• Third-Party Integrations: Experience integrating with external APIs and services.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Fintech Experience: Familiarity with financial compliance and security standards is a big plus.
• Cloud & DevOps: Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Tech Stack: Experience with NestJS and NuxtJS (VueJS framework) is a plus.
