Kforce is looking for a Senior Software Developer for a fully onsite, six-month contract to hire opportunity in Lenexa, KS. The Senior Software Developer will join the client's IT Development and Automation team. Responsibilities: * Guide, mentor, and coach the development team, removing blockers and ensuring project completion * Proactively monitors and assists with team workload balance * Collaborate with team leaders and management on project direction and department strategy * Define best practices and standards, ensuring adherence across the team * Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance software quality * Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback * Identify and escalate SDLC issues and gaps* MB 300 and MB 500 certification * 7+ years of experience in software development * Proven experience with Dynamics AX 2012 and/or Dynamics 365 F&O * Proficiency with C#, .Net MVC, RESTful APIs, Angular, SQL, and/or X++ * Proficiency and understanding of relational databases and querying * Proficiency with Git or other version control systems * Proficiency with Azure DevOps and build/release pipelines * Proven ability to lead development of significant projects * Advanced business awareness and understanding * Demonstrated leadership in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) * Effective communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders * Proven track record of working well with a team
