Your role

We are looking for someone who can manage the quality assurance processes surrounding Clinia’s products and technology. Someone who strives to establish robust processes and procedures to ensure Clinia delivers a top-tier product with minimal preventable defects. You will be responsible for promoting a culture of quality and accountability within the development team, advocating for adherence to established testing processes and product requirements

As a Senior Software Developer in test, you will:

• Create and document quality requirements aligned with business, technical and functional requirements;
• Evaluate product functionalities against these requirements as part of the release lifecycle and lead the appropriate remediation efforts;
• Develop and execute regression testing plans, ensuring documentation of results before product release;
• Develop and execute various types of tests to detect bugs and other system unexpected behaviours;
• Automate testing to accelerate the quality assurance process and provide tools for developers to test their work;
• Integrate tests in our solution’s CI/CD pipeline to monitor the product’s health at each step of the SDLC;
• Be part of the discussions surrounding client feedback and support regarding voiced defects and unexpected behaviour;
• Continuously evaluate and optimize QA processes to prevent defaults from making their way to our clients. 

In terms of skills, you should have: 

• Extensive experience in documenting quality requirements
• Extensive experience in conducting quality assurance processes
• Developing experience using Typescript or other such programming languages
• Experience with end-to-end testing tools such as Playwright 
• Knowledge of how to consume OpenAPI specs
• Knowledge of Git as a version control tool
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools like Github Actions or equivalent
• Time management and organization skills to manage your workload and assigned tasks
• Communication skills to interact with developers and client tickets
• Attention to detail and being able to anticipate edge cases
• Experience in planning, executing and analyzing the results of performance tests

Finally, as we have a multilingual team in Canada and abroad, you must ideally be bilingual in both French and English (writing & verbal).
