Jelvix is looking for a Senior Software Developer in Test to join the project in the Marketing domain.
A current position as Team Lead will be a huge advantage.
Moreover, not only is the position important, but we need someone who sees Quality as a shared responsibility between dev and QA, values quality from the first line of code, and works with the team to build testable, scalable systems from the ground up.
Requirements:
— Strong technical proficiency, at least 5 years of relevant working experience. Moreover, one must be able to write backend integration tests on a development level
— Spoken Upper-Intermediate level of English
— Experience working in a Shift Left environment
— Experience working closely with developers through all phases of the SDLC
— Strong skills in API testing (REST and/or gRPC), with hands-on automation
— Ability to write and maintain automated tests and frameworks in CI pipelines from scratch
— Languages: Java and/or TypeScript
— Testing Frameworks/tools: Playwright, Postman, Gitlab, Docker, Mock containers
Nice to have:
— Familiarity with unit/integration/e2e test layers and test data management
— Proactive in identifying edge cases, risks, and gaps before code is written
— Experience with Google cloud platforms (GCP — BigQuery, Pub/Sub topics/GCS buckets, AWS) or containerized environments. Experience with unit testing is a big plus
