About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) you will take a leading role in developing and implementing advanced software solutions for our Warehouse Management System (PSIwms). You will work on both national and international projects, driving technical excellence and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-impact results.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, high-performance logistics solutions that are tailored to meet the needs of our clients
• Lead the customization and programming of our Warehouse Management System using Java, Python, and SQL
• Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, ensuring top-tier quality through white-box testing, regression testing, and code reviews
• Optimize technical processes through logfile analysis and debugging to ensure seamless system performance and client satisfaction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, sharing insights and innovative ideas to solve complex challenges and enhance project outcomes
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior developers, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

What we are looking for?

• Proven experience in software development, ideally with a focus on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or intra-logistics solutions
• Expertise in Java, Python, and SQL, with a solid understanding of designing and maintaining large-scale systems
• Strong experience with automated testing and test-driven development to ensure robust and high-quality software
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize complex systems
• A collaborative mindset, with strong communication skills to work effectively with teams across different disciplines and locations
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, and a passion for setting new technical standards and driving innovation
