Summary
Job Description We’re hiring a Senior Software Architect to join an exciting, fast-growing SaaS platform company that’s reshaping the way organizations manage finance and credit operations. This team is building scalable, enterprise-grade applications using modern Java technologies in a high-impact environment where innovation, mentorship, and architectural ownership are at the core.
As a Senior Architect, you’ll lead high-performing engineering teams, drive design decisions across a multi-technology stack, and serve as a subject matter expert in developing and optimizing full-stack applications that power critical financial workflows across a global user base.
This is a 5-day onsite role in Schaumburg, IL—perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, face-to-face engineering culture and wants to have a real impact on product direction and team development. Required Skills & Experience
7+ + years of hands-on software development experience
Master’s or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering
Expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, REST, SOAP
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB)
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and full software lifecycle
Experience building large-scale, high-availability systems
Desired Skills & Experience
Background in FinTech or enterprise SaaS
Familiarity with Kafka, MapReduce, Hadoop, or similar big data tools
Experience working with offshore development teams
Knowledge of UI frameworks (PrimeFaces or similar)
