KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working in conjunction with application SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) teams to comprehend infrastructure requirements and implement solutions that improve the availability and resilience of the system.
  • Investigates and learns reliability principles such as Incident response, Monitoring, and Chaos Engineering.
  • Constantly strives to remain current on the most recent technologies and trends in the fields of full-stack development and reliability engineering.
  • Experienced with integrating Open-Source controls and tools in Enterprise Architecture.
  • Have experience with adherence to Enterprise Security protocols.


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS):

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, with 4 to 6 years of relevant technical experience is required
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in SRE / DevOps practices
  • 2+ years of experience in Scripting tools (Bash, Python etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience working on DevOps tools (GitLab CI, AWS-CodePipeline) / Anything Similar
  • 1+ year of experience in Containerization technologies like Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with existing AWS Cloud Controls
  • 1+ years of experience in developing NodeJS or TypeScript applications / Python/Java
  • 2+ years of experience in building and supporting applications in AWS and engineering applications in the AWS infrastructure using their Native services
  • 1+ year of experience in AWS CDK


WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS):

  • 1+ year of experience in Application Resiliency evaluation using AWS FIS
  • 1 + year of experience using Litmus for Chaos Engineering methods
  • Exposure to RedHat OpenShift on AWS (ROSA)
  • Understanding on Monitoring, Observability and SLOs/SLIs.
